AC power plugRemote AC Power Control

The Network LifeSaver is the next generation of remote power control products. With eight independent channels of AC power control

and built-in TCP/IP connectivity, you can remotely control the AC power states using any computer or handheld device. The Network LifeSaver has two independent AC feed buses with resettable circuit breakers that feed eight AC devices.

Remote Network Monitoring

In addition to AC power control, the Network LifeSaver has a powerful built-in network monitoring system. The Network LifeSaver continuously monitors your eight devices, including web, FTP, e-mail or any other type of TCP/IP service. Each Network LifeSaver can perform 52 user-customizable TCP/IP tests on each of the eight channels around the clock. If there is a failure, the Network LifeSaver will immediately notify you by e-mail.

Control Room Application

The Network LifeSaver includes a control room application that further expands its functionality. The unique control room application provides graphical indication of power and network test results and provides software control of the Network LifeSaver and its attached servers. You can customize the control room with your own graphics and your own, unique settings. The application also allow you to remotely restart and shutdown servers and it displays memory usage and historical uptime information.

Hardware Features

The Network LifeSaver was engineered to be an enterprise-level device that runs 24x7 without downtime. It contains two independent RISC processors for reliability and has a medical-grade power supply. Since cooling fans are often the first things to fail on electrical devices, the Network LifeSaver cools itself without them. AC power control is performed with double layer relay switching that adds increased reliability and safety. The large 40x2 character, backlit LCD display makes setup and administration easy. Power state and network test state indicators are on the LCD display for visual status in your rack. The unit comes with built-in Ethernet connectivity, a rack mounting kit, and a double set of AC power cords for your devices.
