Saving and Uploading your Checkout Form plus possible errors.
After creating a new checkout form or changing your existing form,
saving and uploading the form properly is the key to having your
ordering system working and ready to take orders. It is important
to test your site, shopping cart and checkout form to ensure that
all works correctly.
Saving and Uploading your Checkout Form:
1. Once you have built or changed your Checkout form, Choose "Save
As" from the File pulldown menu. Save the form as a separate
page in it's own folder in a location separate from your web folder.
We suggest saving the Checkout form in it's own folder on your
desktop. The Checkout form is uploaded to the JAC Networks, not
to your web server. Therefore, it must be saved separately from
your web folders to ensure that it is not uploaded to your web
server.
2. Save your Checkout form.
3. With the Checkout Form open in the
editor screen, click on the JAC Checkout form icon.
4. Click on
the "Upload Checkout Form to JAC Network" option.
5. Enter
your Administrative password.
6. Your updated Checkout Form is
now uploaded. Test your site to view the new Checkout Form. If
the
checkout form does not appear on your site:
Error message - **Error: Please click your browser's back button
and then click the Checkout Button again.***
This error will appear if your checkout form has been uploaded
to the JAC Network incorrectly. Possible causes for uploading the
form incorrectly:
-
The JAC Serial number on the checkout form does not match
the JAC Serial number of the account you are uploading the
form to. To correct the problem, make sure the serial number
is the same as the serial number of your account. If it is
different, change the form to reflect your correct Serial number
by using the directions on the following page: Making
Changes to an existing checkout form.
-
You have saved the Checkout form within your web site directory.
The JAC Checkout form is directly uploaded to the JAC Networks,
not to your web server. To ensure that the Checkout form is
not uploaded to your web server, it must be saved in a folder
that is separate from your web folders. We suggest saving the
form in it's own folder on your desktop.
