JustAddCommerce Handling and Insurance

JustAddCommerce has the ability to add Handling and Insurance Charges to each order.  Both may be set as fixed rates or based on total weight, total items purchased or total order amount.

Enable Handling Calculation

Select this field if you want to add a handling charge to each order.  This is a global setting and will apply to all orders.

Calculate by 

Select how you want JAC to calculate the handling charge—by Flat Rate, Quantity, or Weight.

Flat Rate

Enter the Flat Rate in the Handling Charge field.

Total

Enter the Base Charge, Rate Per Dollar, and Minimum Charge in the fields.

Quantity

Enter the Base Charge, Rate Per Unit, and Minimum Charge in the fields.

Weight

Enter the Base Charge, Rate Per Pound, and Minimum Charge in the fields.

Handling Caption

Enter a short, descriptive message that will appear next to the handling charge line item in the shopping cart display. For example, you can enter, "Handling Charges Automatically Calculated."

Enable Insurance Calculation

Select this field if you want to add an insurance charge to each order.  This is a global setting and will apply to all orders.

Calculate by 

Select how you want JAC to calculate the insurance charge—by Flat Rate, Quantity, or Weight.

Flat Rate

Enter the Flat Rate in the Insurance Charge field.

Total

Enter the Base Charge, Rate Per Dollar, and Minimum Charge in the fields.

Quantity

Enter the Base Charge, Rate Per Unit, and Minimum Charge in the fields.

Weight

Enter the Base Charge, Rate Per Pound, and Minimum Charge in the fields.
