Payment Settings
Within the
Payment Settings section you may adjust your Tax Calculation
settings, Currency settings, Real Time Processing settings, Confirmation
message, as well as the Continue URL feature. Please click on
any of the links below to jump to your topic of interest or simply

Calculation Settings
Tax
Calculations may be set for locations within the United States,
as well as outside of the United States.
For
Tax Calculations to locations within the United
States do the following:

1. Access your JustAddCommerce account using
your Administrative Password

2. Under the "Payment Settings" heading
on the left hand side of the screen, click on the "Tax
Calculation" link.

3. Your browser will show the page
below:
- 4. Select Taxable Shipping if applicable. This setting
enables JustAddCommerce to automatically calculate Tax plus
Shipping Costs. Most States do not require this, however
it is available if your State has passed legislation that
requires Merchants to collect tax on Shipping Costs. You
must click the "Save Taxable Shipping" button
in order to permanently save your changes on the JustAddCommerce
Network.
- 5. If you need to charge tax by Billing State: Select
the State(s) from the pull-down menu. Then enter the tax
rates for each State. The State and Tax percent will show
to the left of the screen.
- 6. If you need to charge tax by Shipping Zip Codes: Enter
the zip code(s) in the provided field. Then enter the tax
rates for each zip code. The Zip Code and tax percent will
show to the left of the screen.
For Tax Calculations
to Locations Outside
of the United States do the following:
- 1. Access your
JustAddCommerce account using your Administrative Password
- 2. Under
the "Payment Settings" heading on the left
hand side of the screen, click on the "Tax Calculation" link.
- 3. Your
browser will show the page below:
- 4. In
the Zip Code input box, enter the name of the location you want to tax.
(ex. Quebec) In the % input box, enter the tax amount. Although
you are entering
the information in the Zip Code area, it will appear in the "State" section
of the Current Tax Settings area.
- 5. After
you have added the location names to your Tax Calculations settings,
the next step is to manually enter the added location names to
your Checkout
form. To do this, open your checkout form in your editor, double click
on the "State" fields and add the necessary location names.
- 6. Save
the edited Checkout form, then Upload the form to the JAC Networks
by selecting the "Upload Checkout form" option provided in the "Checkout
form" section within the JustAddCommerce Menu bar.
Currency
Settings
JustAddCommerce can
display currency symbols other than the US dollar ($). You can use only
one currency per copy of JustAddCommerce.
Please note: Even
though JustAddCommerce can display a non-US dollar currency symbol, JAC
does not do rate conversions or support more than one type of currency.
To change your currency
symbol:
- 1. Access your
JustAddCommerce Account using your Administrative password.
- 2. Under
the "Payment Settings" heading on the left
hand side of the screen, locate the "Currency" link.
- 3. Click
on the "Currency" link.
- 4. Enter
your currency symbol in the box provided. For example,"£".
- 5. Click
the "Save Currency Settings" button.
Real
Time Processing settings for Nova Corporation
The Real Time Processing
settings must be filled out in order for JustAddCommerce to
connect to Nova and automatically authorize and charge your
customers' credit cards. Once the order is approved
you and your customer will receive an e-mail confirmation
of the order. The Real Time version may be used with a JustAddCommerce
Nova account or any other Internet Nova merchant account issued
by another MSP such as Costco.
Please Note: If
using a non-JustAddCommerce Nova processing account, contact our Sales
Department at 1-866-343-4206, ext 1. (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5:30
p.m. MST) to setup your Terminal Identification Numbers (TIDs) for JustAddCommerce.
If using
a JustAddCommerce Nova processing account, your MID and TIDs will be
automatically setup by our Sales Department.
To set up your Real
Time Processing version with a Nova Corporation processing account:
- 1. Access
your JustAddCommerce account using your Administrative password.
- 2. Under the "Payment Settings" heading on the left
side of the screen, locate the "Real Time Processing" link.
- 3. Click on the "Real Time Processing" link.
- 4. Your browser will show the page below:
- 6. The "Enable
Real Time Payment Processing" box will be marked however, in order
to activate automatic processing of the credit cards from your JustAddCommerce
orders, uncheck the box and then check it again.
- 7. You are using
the "JustAddCommerce" Payment Gateway
so make sure that is what appears and click the "Change Gateway" button
to ensure that the settings are appropriate for the JustAddCommerce
Payment Gateway.
- 8. The "Accept URL Send" section
is only used if a CGI program is written to override the JustAddCommerce
order confirmation
message to extract the order number and the total from the passed
URL Get Method. If
you want to have the standard confirmation message appear, you
must keep this blank. If you do enter a URL here, orders will still
be taken but your customer will not see a confirmation message to
notify
them
that the order went through properly.
- 9. Click
the "Save Real Time Processing Settings" button
to save and activate your Real Time Settings.
- 10. Test
your JustAddCommerce account. Send a sample order through your account
using your credit card. Once placed and testing
is complete,
simply access your Nova Virtual Terminal through your JAC account
to "Void" the
test purchase(s).
Real
Time Processing settings for Authorize.Net.
The Real Time Processing
settings must be filled out so JustAddCommerce can automatically
connect to AuthorizeNet allowing them to authorize and charge
your customers' credit cards. Once the order is approved you
and your customer will receive an e-mail confirmation of the
order. The Real Time version is compatible with all Authorize.Net
processing accounts, however we are not yet compatible with
the Wells Fargo® SecureSource® processing account
for Authorize.Net.
To setup your Real
Time Processing version to work with an Authorize.Net processing account
you must perform settings within your Authorize.Net account as well
as within JustAddCommerce. For your Authorize.Net
settings, please email our tech support department. Email

For your JustAddCommerce
settings, follow the directions below:
- 1. Access
your JustAddCommerce account using your Administrative password.
- 2. Under
the "Payment Settings" heading on the left side of the screen,
locate the "Real Time Processing" link.
- 3. Click
on the "Real Time Processing" link.
- 4. Your
browser will show the page below:
- 5. Check
the "Enable Real Time Payment Processing" box to activate
automatic processing of the credit cards from your JustAddCommerce
orders.
- 6. Select the "AuthorizeNet" payment gateway
from the pull down menu and click the "Change Gateway"
button to ensure that the settings are appropriate for the
Authorize.Net payment gateway.
- 7. Enter
the exact Authorize.Net Login ID that was issued to you with your
Authorize.Net account in the given field. Note: This
must be exactly identical in letter case and spacing as issued
to you.
- 8. If
you are using a Third Party payment gateway for your Authorize.Net
account, enter the Secure Host URL issued to you with
your account
in the given field. Enter this URL here so the information
will get passed through
this gateway and allow credit cards to be processed.
- 9. Click
the "Save Real Time Processing Settings" button
to save and activate your settings.
- 10. Test
your JustAddCommerce account. Send a sample order through your account
using your credit card. Once placed and
testing is complete,
simply access your Authorize.Net Virtual Terminal to "Void" the
test purchase(s).
Confirmation
Message and Continue URL Settings
The
Confirmation message and Continue URL set in this section are displayed
to your customer after they have completed the final order submission
by clicking
on the "Submit Secured Order" button. The customer will receive
a "This is your Receipt" page that displays your customized confirmation
message, an order number, a "Click Here to Continue" link (if
you use the Continue URL feature) and your URL address at the bottom of
the confirmation
page (if you use the Continue URL feature). This is a good place to thank
your customers for purchasing from your store, to add your company contact
information and return them to your Web site for further browsing as well
as provide your customers with an easy way to contact you after they've
made a purchase from your site.JustAddCommerce
lets you enter a customized message on the customer receipt page that is
automatically generated by the JAC Transaction Network.
To change your confirmation
message:
- 1. Access
your JAC Account using your Administrative password.
- 2. On
the left hand side of the screen under the "Payment
Settings" heading is the "Confirmation message" link.
- 3. Click
on the "Confirmation message" link.
- 4. In
the Message box provided, enter your message.
- 5. Click
on the "Save Confirmation" button to save
your confirmation message settings.
If you would like your
customers to return to your home page or a different URL after shopping
from your site, a "Click Here to Continue" link can appear under the
confirmation message. The "Click Here to Continue" link on the
JustAddCommerce receipt page always refers the customer to the specific
URL you have designated and will ensure that the specific URL will be present
at the bottom of the Confirmation page.
To add the "Continue
URL" link to your Confirmation Receipt page:
- 1. Access
your JAC Account using your Administrative password.
- 2. On
the left hand side of the screen under the "Payment
Settings" heading is the "Confirmation message" link.
- 3. Click
on the "Confirmation message" link.
- 4. In
the "Continue URL" box provided, enter your
desired URL address. Make sure you use the form: http://www.yourwebsitepageaddress.com
- 5. Click
on the "Save Confirmation Message" button
to save your confirmation message settings.
"Auth Only" for Authorize.net Users
To set your real-time processing to the "Auth Only" method, which allows the funds to be authorized but not captured until you are ready to ship the product, add the following line of code to your checkout form HTML. The "Auth Only" feature will hold funds for 30 days until a force is performed to capture the authorized funds. Note that this will take all orders in an "Auth Only" mode.
Add this line of code in the HTML of your checkout from.

We recommend entering it toward the end of the form. You can place it anywhere as long as it is before the end </form> tag. An example would be:
