What version of JAC are you using?
There are two different versions of JustAddCommerce - JAC 4.0 (released in 1999) and JAC 5.0 (released in June 2001). The two versions run on different network systems and the support is different depending on which version of JAC you are using.
Please note: If you are using JAC for Dreamweaver, you are using the JAC 5.0 version.
In order to find out which JAC version you are using for FrontPage, please do either of the following easy steps:
- Find out what network your shopping cart resides on:
Access your web site. Click on any JAC button and you will be taken to the JAC Server Networks.
For JAC version 4.0, you will be directed to: http://www.2rich.com/scripts/jaciis.dll
For JAC version 5.0, you will be directed to: http://www.justaddcommerce.net/o/order.dll
- Look at how JAC opens in FrontPage:
Click on the JustAddCommerce button in FrontPage.
You are using JAC 4.0, if it says "Insert JustAddCommerce".
You are using JAC 5.0, if it says "Launch JustAddCommerce".
